10DAYSFeaturing a compact design, the DTP10011 measures only 56 mm × 50 mm × 40 mm and weighs approximately 160 g. Its small size and lightweight construction make it easy to carry and operate in the field, particularly for large-area, rapid inspections under complex operating conditions.
Based on Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) technology, the DTP10011 enables wall thickness variation assessment of metallic components beneath insulation or protective cladding without removing the insulation or grinding the surface. This helps improve on-site inspection efficiency. With a cladding thickness of approximately 30 mm, the sensor can detect a metal wall thickness of approximately 12 mm. As the cladding thickness decreases, the detectable metal thickness range can increase. Conversely, when inspecting thinner metal walls, the sensor can accommodate thicker cladding, depending on the specific inspection conditions.
The DTP10011 is suitable for corrosion assessment of carbon steel and other ferromagnetic metal structures. It is particularly well suited for the rapid screening of corrosion under insulation (CUI) in pipelines, storage tanks, pressure equipment, and other industrial assets in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
When integrated with a BEONDT pulsed eddy current testing system, the sensor enables rapid, large-area inspections and efficient corrosion risk assessment. This helps reduce inspection downtime and improve equipment operational safety.
